Bo與Elsa向銀行貸款成立了一間音樂工作室，沒想到，在開始營業後的三個月，完全沒有接到任何工作，而銀行也在三個月後通知要提高利率，此時兩人的經濟狀況陷入谷底。
他們不明白，為何會經歷這樣的困境，在一次的聚會中，他們一起禱告，忽然夫妻倆都聽見了神的話說，「我的應許永遠不改變，我永遠與你們同在」。
當聚會結束後，有一個他們不認識的人主動來詢問他們，是不是在經濟上遇到困難，那人對他們說「剛剛在禱告中，神要我來關心你們」，原來這個人就是他們貸款銀行的主管。
神主動的幫助Bo與Elsa解決了所有的問題，而他們也因著這樣的經歷，寫下了這首歌，主你永遠與我同在。
