詩歌故事
某一天，Tim Hughes在讀經時，有一段經節特別的跳出來，寫說，耶穌無佳形美容；我們看見他的時候，也無美貌使我們羨慕他。對他來說，這句形容耶穌的話，很有意思，因為很難想像，最有能力和榮耀的上帝之子，自己成為了一個普通人。
雖然，祂的外表沒有什麼特色來引起別人注意，但是對於祂所拯救的人，我們知道祂是那麼的真實而美麗的。當我們心裡的眼睛被打開，我們就會被耶穌的榮美吸引，甚至明白世上的一切都無能相比。Tim因為有這樣的感動和看見，就寫出這一首形容耶穌的榮美的「Beautiful One 」。
雖然在這世上，我們無法完全的瞭解神為我們所作的，但我們就是需要轉眼仰望耶穌，敬拜祂、愛慕祂，並因為祂的榮美，而將自己交在神的手中。
